GREENSBORO, N.C. (theACC.com) – Duke’s Cole Reznick has been named the ACC Men’s Swimmer of the Week, while teammate Seamus Harding Jr. has been selected as the Diver of the Week. On the women’s side, the Blue Devils’ Yixuan Chang has been named ACC Women’s Swimmer of the Week, and teammate Margo O’Meara has been selected as the Diver of the Week.
Reznick won three events for Duke in victories over Boston College (276.5-141.5) and UNCW (252-160) last week. The senior from Pleasanton, California, won the 50 breaststroke, 100 individual medley and 200 individual medley. Reznick also took second in the 100 breaststroke and was part of the winning 200 and 400 medley relay teams.
A freshman from Stamford, Connecticut, Chang won three events to lead Duke to victories over Boston College (283-132) and UNCW (287-127). The Blue Devil won the 200 freestyle, 200 butterfly and 200 individual medley.
Hailing from Hillsborough, New Jersey, Harding swept the diving events in the meets against Boston College and UNCW. The rookie diver swept the springboard events, scoring a 331.10 on the 1-meter and a 358.10 on the 3-meter. Harding also won the platform competition with a score of 344.70.
O’Meara won both springboard contests in the contests against Boston College and UNCW. The freshman from St. Louis, Missouri, posted a score of 335.10 in the 1-meter event and 377.70 on the 3-meter. O’Meara also took third in the platform competition with a score of 262.73.
