Tournament Central
Virginia and Wake Forest will compete in ITA National Team Indoor Championship this weekend (Feb. 18-21), in Seattle, Washington.
The University of Washington serves as event host, with action taking place at both the Nordstrom Tennis Center and Seattle Tennis Club. Live streaming via PlaySight is available at Nordstrom, with Track.Tennis providing live streaming from STC. Live scoring via Tennis-Ticker will be at both sites.

The tournament is single elimination, with the championship match set to be played on Monday, Feb. 21 at 1 p.m. All teams are guaranteed to play at least three matches over the weekend through either the main or consolation draw.
All matches get underway on Friday, Feb. 17. Virginia, the 12th seed, takes on No. 5 TCU at noon, and No. 8 Wake Forest faces No. 9 Georgia at 6:30 p.m.
ACC Men's Tennis Notes
- Four ACC teams are ranked in the Tennis Channel/USTA College Tennis Top 25 poll – No. 8 Virginia, No. 12 Wake Forest, No. 15 North Carolina and No. 20 NC State. Florida State also received votes.
- Four ACC teams are ranked in the ITA Collegiate Tennis Top 25 Coaches Poll – No. 6 Wake Forest, No. 7 Virginia, No. 22 NC State and No. 21 North Carolina. Duke and Georgia Tech also received votes.
- Twenty ACC players – representing eight different institutions – are listed in the ITA Top 125 Singles Rankings. Georgia Tech’s Andres Martin is the top ranked player at No. 12. Wake Forest leads all schools with six players in the rankings, followed by Virginia with five.
- Sixth-ranked Ryan Goetz and Chris Rodesch of Virginia is the league’s top ranked team In the ITA Top 60 Doubles Rankings. Ten ACC schools are represented in the rankings, including two doubles teams from North Carolina, Virginia and Wake Forest.
- Virginia and Wake Forest will compete in the ITA National Team Indoor Championship February 18-21, in Seattle, Washington.
