ACC Announces Women's Tennis Players of the Week

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (theACC.com) - In the 10th set of weekly honors for the 2025-26 Atlantic Coast Conference Women’s Tennis season, the Notre Dame duo of Bianca Molnar and Bojana Pozder was named the ACC Women’s Doubles Team of the Week. Additionally, NC State’s Mia Slama was named the ACC Player of the Week, while Virginia’s Kaitlyn Rolls was named the ACC Women’s Freshman of the Week.

ACC WOMEN’S DOUBLES TEAM OF THE WEEK
Biana Molnar, Notre Dame, So. (Ladera Ranch, California)
Bojana Pozder, Notre Dame, Sr. (Mount Pleasant, Wisconsin)
  • Defeated SMU’s No. 10 nationally-ranked duo of Caroline McGinley and Amelie Van Impe, 6-3.
 ACC WOMEN’S PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Mia Slama, NC State, So. (Boca Raton, Florida)
  • Helped No. 14 NC State to a 4-3 upset over No. 2 Pepperdine with a top-25 singles win on court one and the doubles point-clinching win.
    • Defeated Pepperdine’s No. 23 Ziva Falkner, 6-4, 6-2.
    • Helped defeat Pepperdine’s team of Duru Soke and Shihomi Leong, 7-5.
ACC WOMEN’S FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK
Kaitlyn Rolls, Virginia, Fr. (Plymouth, Michigan)
  • Recorded two singles wins and a doubles win to help lead Virginia to conference wins over No. 30 Miami, 4-1, and Florida State, 4-0.
    • Defeated Florida State’s Tina Li, 6-3, 6-0.
    • Defeated Miami’s Sebastianna Scilipoti, 7-5, 6-3.
    • Helped defeat the Miami duo of Maria Vargas and Daria Polosova, 6-3.
