CHARLOTTE, N.C. (theACC.com) - Conference play reaches the halfway point this weekend for Atlantic Coast Conference men's soccer, with the fourth of eight weekends. No. 7 Syracuse visits No. 21 Duke in a top-25 clash on Friday at 7 p.m. on ACC Network.

Six ACC teams are ranked in the United Soccer Coaches poll, the most of any conference. Syracuse is No. 7 and followed by Louisville (8), Wake Forest (10), Notre Dame (15), North Carolina (18) and Duke (21).

Noting ACC Men's Soccer
• Showing off the league's balance, 11 of the 12 ACC teams have recorded at least one league win this season while all 12 ACC teams have logged at least one point.
• In the first NCAA RPI for 2023, the ACC has six teams in the top 25: UNC (7), Notre Dame (11), Wake (13), Syracuse (17), Louisville (19) and Clemson (25).
• ACC teams won all six of their non-conference matches this week and are now 42-11-14 (73.1% win pct.) in non-conference action – the most wins and second-best win percentage of any conference.
• Duke's Forster Ajago is tied for second nationally in goals (8), while Wake Forest's Roald Mitchell is tied for eighth (7).
• Clemson (fourth, 2.67), Louisville (11th, 2.5), Duke (13th, 2.38 and Pitt (14th, 2.33) rank among the top 15 teams nationally in goals per game.
• Pitt and Virginia Tech rank second and third, respectively, nationally in Strength of Schedule. Notre Dame is 16th, while Syracuse is 20th.
• Five ACC players were selected to the 2023 Hermann Trophy Watch List: F Alex Meinhard (Clemson), F Gage Guerra (Louisville), D Vemund Hole Vik (UNC), M Filip Mirkovic (Pitt) and D Garrison Tubbs (Wake).
• 16 of the 33 members of the 2022 All-ACC Team return this season, including four first-teamers: Ousmane Sylla (Clemson), Sander Roed (Louisville), Filip Mirkovic (Pitt) and Leo Afonso (Virginia). 
• 2022 All-ACC Second Team picks Amir Daley and Nick Pariano (Duke) and Garrison Tubbs and Roald Mitchell (Wake Forest) also are back this season.
• Syracuse won its first NCAA championship in program history in 2022. Following 110 minutes and a 2-2 draw, the No. 3 seed Orange outlasted No. 13 Indiana, 7-6, in a penalty-kick shootout.
• ACC teams have won 19 NCAA men’s soccer championships, including 10 since 2001.
• Five active ACC head coaches have won national championships as a head coach: Mike Noonan (Clemson), Carlos Somoano (UNC), Jay Vidovich (Pitt), Ian McIntyre (Syracuse) and George Gelnovatch (Virginia).
• Seven current ACC programs have won at least one national championship, the most of any conference. Eleven different league programs have reached the Men's College Cup. Sixty-three ACC teams have reached the Men's College Cup all-time.
• Last season marked the fourth straight tournament in which the ACC boasted two College Cup participants, with Pitt and Syracuse. The ACC has had at least one team in the College Cup in 21 of the last 22 seasons.
• The ACC led all conferences in both first-round picks (7) and overall selections (16) in the 2023 MLS SuperDraft.
• Clemson’s Hamady Diop was the No. 1 overall selection in the SuperDraft by Charlotte FC, becoming the 10th ACC player to be selected No. 1 overall. Three of the last four top SuperDraft picks have hailed from ACC programs, with Clemson’s Robbie Robinson in 2020 and Virginia Tech’s Daniel Pereira in 2021.
