CHARLOTTE, N.C. (theACC.com) – Pitt's Jah'Liyah Bedminster was named the Atlantic Coast Conference Gymnast of the Week, North Carolina's Isabelle Schaefer was tabbed Specialist of the Week and Clemson's Lilly Lippeatt earned Newcomer of the Week.

Bedminster competed in three events in Pitt's home opener against Kent State posting scores of 9.800 and higher. The Loganville, Georgia, native started the evening off on vault with a 9.800 and the individual title. The senior recorded a 9.800 on her bars routine, helping the Panthers secure their highest team event score of the evening of 49.025. Bedminster finished on floor earning a 9.850, Pitt's highest score.

Schaefer matched her career-high 9.925 on bars for UNC at the ESPN Events Collegiate Quad on Friday night. It was a new season high and marked the third time in the junior's career that she has posted that score. The Charlotte, North Carolina, native finished second individually with the 9.925, which was the highest among the Tar Heels and tied for third all-time in program history. Schaefer owns the highest score on bars in the ACC so far this season.

Lippeatt competed in three rotations for the Tigers in their inaugural meet on Friday. The redshirt freshman recorded 9.700 scores or higher on all three events. The Mason, Ohio, native posted a 9.750 on beam and 9.825 on floor. Lippeatt finished as the event winner on bars, posting a meet-high 9.900, which led to Clemson earning a No. 15 national ranking on bars (49.225).
