CHARLOTTE, N.C. (theACC.com) – After edging No. 5 Yale at the Cayuga Cup, Syracuse’s Varsity Four has been named the Atlantic Coast Conference Crew of the Week.

The eighth-ranked Syracuse V4 beat No. 5 Yale and Cornell at the Cayuga Cup on Saturday at Fish Creek in Saratoga Springs, New York. The Orange crossed the line at 7:06.093, finishing almost two seconds ahead of second-place Yale (7:08.002).

In addition to the V4 victory, Syracuse tallied four second-place finishes and one fourth-place result to close out the Cayuga Cup.
