CHARLOTTE, N.C. (theACC.com) – This week in Atlantic Coast Conference cross country, at least one team from each of the 18 ACC member schools will compete on Friday, October 17, and Saturday, October 18. The weekend is highlighted by the Nuttycombe Wisconsin Invitational Presented by Under Armour in Madison, Wisconsin, one of the nation’s preeminent collegiate meets.
The Nuttycombe Invitational has been hosted by Wisconsin for over 15 years, establishing itself as one of the nation’s top cross country meets. The meet features a men’s 8K and a women’s 6K race, as well as “B” races for both genders. The women’s championship race is set to begin at 12:50 p.m. ET, followed by the men’s at 1:30 p.m. ET. The ACC will be represented by seven of the 32 men’s teams and seven of the 31 women’s teams competing in the meet this weekend.
In addition to the Nuttycombe Invitational, the ACC will have four teams competing at the Virginia Panorama Farms Invitational in Charlottesville, Virginia. The meet will feature a men’s 8K race beginning at 8:45 a.m. ET, followed by a women’s 6K race at 9:30 a.m. ET.
Overall, the ACC will have teams competing in nine different meets throughout nine different states across two days.
As ACC cross country teams close in on the last few weeks of the season, this weekend marks the last regular season meets for most schools. Next, they will prepare to head to Louisville, Kentucky, for the 2025 ACC Cross Country Championship on Friday, October 31.
