CHARLOTTE, N.C. (theACC.com) - Reigning ACC Champion Stanford has been voted the favorite to claim the 2026 Atlantic Coast Conference Women's Gymnastics title, following a vote of the league's six head coaches. Clemson came in second, followed by reigning ACC regular-season champion California in third.
The conference also has released the 2026 Preseason Watch List which features 12 gymnasts as nominated by the league’s six gymnastics programs, along with the Newcomer List, featuring one gymnast who is in their first year of collegiate gymnastics, including redshirt freshmen and true freshmen, from each program.
The 2026 season officially begins on Saturday, January 3, as California takes on Washington, Oregon State and UCLA in Seattle, Washington. ACC women's gymnastics will be featured on ACC Network and ESPN throughout the season, including the 2026 ACC Gymnastics Championships on Saturday, March 21, at First Horizon Coliseum in Greensboro, North Carolina. The championship format will consist of two separate sessions, with the No. 5 and No. 6 seeds competing in the first session, while seeds No. 1-4 compete in the second session. Tickets will be available for purchase in early 2026.
