CHARLOTTE, N.C. (theACC.com) – Boston College, California, Duke, Florida State, Louisville, NC State, Stanford, Syracuse and Virginia registered conference wins on Thursday night.

#24 Florida State 86, #3 Notre Dame 81 | Box Score | Highlights
No. 24 Florida State (23-6, 13-4 ACC) picked up an upset victory over No. 3 Notre Dame (24-4, 15-2 ACC) with a score of 86-81 on Thursday at the Purcell Pavilion. This marked just the second win over the Fighting Irish in the program's history and the first victory on the road against them. The win was the highest-ranked win for the Seminoles since beating No. 3 Louisville, 68-59, in Tallahassee, Florida, on February 21, 2021. After missing the last three games, FSU’s Ta'Niya Latson led the Noles with 23 points and reached the 2,000-career points mark to become just the third player in ACC history to reach that milestone in their first three seasons. Makayla Timpson posted 22 points and 17 rebounds to record her 15th double-double of the season and 46th of her career. Sonia Citron paced Notre Dame with 21 points, while Liatu King had 17 points and 11 rebounds for her 12th double-double of the year.



#16 Duke 68, #8 North Carolina 53 | Box Score | Highlights
No. 16 Duke (22-7, 13-4 ACC) was led by the trio of Toby Fournier, Ashlon Jackson and Reigan Richardson, who combined for 53 of Duke's 68 points to lead the Blue Devils to a 68-53 victory over No. 8 North Carolina (25-5, 13-4 ACC) at Cameron Indoor Stadium on Thursday night. Richardson scored 16 points after the half and finished with a game-high 23 points on 9-of-15 shooting, including five 3-pointers. Fournier recorded her second career double-double with 19 points and 10 rebounds, while Jackson rounded out the trio with 11 points to go along with three assists and two steals. Playing without starters Reniya Kelly and Alyssa Ustby, the loss was the Tar Heels’ first road loss of the season. Lanie Grant led North Carolina in scoring for the second straight game with 17 points, while Lexi Donarski and Indya Nivar joined Grant in double figures with 10 points apiece.



#25 Louisville 78, Clemson 52 | Box Score | Highlights
No. 25 Louisville (20-8, 13-4 ACC) outscored Clemson (13-15, 6-11 ACC) 47-22 in the second half and 23-6 in the fourth quarter en route to a 78-52 win over the Tigres on Thursday night at the KFC Yum! Center. With the win, Louisville clinched its 15th consecutive season with at least 20 wins and guarantees the Cardinals nothing lower than the fifth seed in the upcoming ACC Tournament. Louisville showcased balanced scoring in the game, with five players reaching double digits, led by Tajianna Roberts with 18 of her game-leading 19 points in the second half. Jayda Curry scored 15 and tied her career high with 10 rebounds. Joining Curry with a double-double was Olivia Cochran, who recorded 11 points and 10 boards. For Clemson, Loyal McQueen scored in double-figures for the 20th time this season with 16 points. Mia Moore scored 10 points and pulled down five rebounds in the contest.



#9 NC State 78, Wake Forest 57 | Box Score | Highlights
No. 9 NC State (23-5, 15-2 ACC) led from start to finish in a 78-57 win over Wake Forest (9-19, 2-15 ACC) on Senior Day. The Wolfpack made 11 3-pointers, assisted on 17-of-28 field goals and had just seven turnovers in the win to finish the regular season with a perfect 16-0 at home. The Pack honored its four seniors Madison Hayes, Lizzy Williamson, Saniya Rivers and Aziaha James pregame, who combined for 41 of the team's 78 points, led by James' 21 points for her 13th 20-point game of the season. Wake Forest redshirt junior forward Malaya Cowles recorded her 14th double-figure scoring game of the season, posting a team-high 14 points on 7-of-9 shooting from the field. Raleigh native and redshirt senior guard Elise Williams added 13 points, led the team with six assists and hauled in four rebounds to give her 500 for her career.



Syracuse 83, Pitt 65 | Box Score | Highlights
Syracuse (11-17, 5-12 ACC) outlasted Pitt (12-18, 4-13 ACC), 83-65, in the JMA Wireless Dome on Thursday night. The Dome victory snapped the Orange's four-game losing streak and earned the Orange their 27th straight win against the Panthers. Georgia Woolley led Syracuse in scoring with 25 points on 50.0 percent (8-of-16) shooting from the field. Sophie Burrows and Kyra Wood both scored in double figures, with Burrows contributing 21 points and Wood with 14 points. Pitt graduate center Khadija Faye recorded her ACC-leading 16th double-double of the season while logging her seventh straight with 25 points and 10 rebounds. MaKayla Elmore registered 10 points and seven boards, while junior guard Marley Washenitz added 10 points and six assists for the Panthers in the loss.



Virginia 63, SMU 51 | Box Score | Highlights
Virginia (15-14, 7-10 ACC) topped SMU (10-19, 2-15 ACC) by a score of 63-51 behind a strong shooting performance from Breona Hurd on Thursday night at Moody Coliseum. Hurd led the Cavaliers with 16 points on the night shooting an efficient 7-for-10 from the field while pulling down six rebounds. Latasha Lattimore and Paris Clark each scored in double figures with 15 and 13 points, respectively, while Kymora Johnson filled up the stat sheet once again with 11 points, 10 rebounds and seven assists. On Senior Night, graduate student Zanai Jones led SMU with 16 points, eight of which came in the fourth quarter. She made six of her 14 field goal attempts and was 4-of-4 from the line while adding three assists. Senior Jessica Peterson scored 13 points and hauled in nine rebounds. After breaking the SMU program record for most rebounds in a single season last game, she increased her record total to 350 for the year.



California 79, Georgia Tech 65 | Box Score | Highlights
California (23-7, 11-6 ACC) went in front by14 points after the first quarter and didn't look back in a 79-65 victory over Georgia Tech (21-8, 9-8 ACC) at Haas Pavilion on Thursday night. Ioanna Krimili knocked down five 3-pointers and moved into 10th place on the NCAA's all-time career list passing Belmont's Darby Maggard. Ugonne Onyiah finished one point shy of her career high with 24 points (11-of-16) to along with 10 rebounds for her ninth double-double of the season and fourth in the last seven contests. Lulu Twidale added 17 points and tied her career high with six assists while Marta Suarez added eight points and eight rebounds and four assists. Three Jackets finished in double figures led by Kara Dunn’s 18 points. Tonie Morgan followed with 13 points, while Tianna Thompson poured in 11 points for her second consecutive double-digit outing.



Stanford 86, Miami 69 | Box Score | Highlights
Stanford (15-13, 7-10 ACC) knocked down 14 3-pointers and used a strong second-half spurt to take control in an 86-69 victory over Miami (14-14, 4-13 ACC) on Thursday night. Brooke Demetre led Stanford with 19 points, a career-high six assists and no turnovers, while Courtney Ogden poured in a career-high 18 points. Chloe Clardy added 16 points and six assists, while Elena Bosgana chipped in with 15 points in her 31 minutes of play. Miami shot 53.7 percent from the field and 41.2 percent from beyond the arc yet couldn’t slow down the Stanford offense that shot 56.3 percent from the field and 51.9 percent from 3-point range. Hanna Cavinder led the way for the Canes, scoring a season-high 19 points on an efficient 8-of-14 shooting from the field, including 3-of-6 from behind the three-point line. She also grabbed three rebounds, dished out two assists, and recorded two steals for the contest. Haley Cavinder finished second on the squad in scoring, pouring in 16 points on 6-of-11 shooting, in addition to pulling down four rebounds and recording a team-high seven assists.



Boston College 92, Virginia Tech 89 (OT) | Box Score | Highlights
Boston College (15-15, 6-11 ACC) got a 3-pointer in overtime from Kaylah Ivey to lift the Eagles to a thrilling 92-89 overtime win over Virginia Tech (17-11, 8-9 ACC) on Senior Night in Conte Forum. Six players scored in double figures in a balanced attack for Boston College, led by Teya Sidberry’s team-high 22 points on 7-of-13 shooting and 12 rebounds. Ivey registered 14 points and passed out a game-high seven assists, Dontavia Waggoner and Kennedi Jackson finished with 14 and 13 points, respectively, while Andrea Daley posted a double-double with 11 points and 12 rebounds in the win. Virginia Tech’s Carys Baker led all scorers in the contest with 24 points, which included four 3-point field goals. She also led the team with eight rebounds. Baker was joined in double figures by Carleigh Wenzel (19), Matilda Ekh (15) and Mackenzie Nelson (11), as the Hokies scored 80 or more points in an ACC game for the sixth time this season, setting a program record for a single season and eclipsing the five from last year.
