CHARLOTTE, N.C. (theACC.com) – Sweeping through the competition at the Big Ivy Dustup, the Syracuse Second Varsity Eight has been named the Atlantic Coast Conference Crew of the Week.

The Orange 2V8 won both of its races on Saturday, March 22, at the Big Ivy Dustup in Cherry Hill, New Jersey, beginning with a victory over No. 9 Michigan and No. 11 Penn. The 2V8 crossed the line at 6:37.0 ahead of the Wolverines (6:43.97) and the Quakers (6:47.41). In the afternoon session, the Orange (6:28.6) defeated No. 14 Ohio State (6:36.5) to cap off the day.

As a team, Syracuse won five of six races during the afternoon portion after winning a pair of races in the morning.
