CHARLOTTE, N.C. (theACC.com) – Eight singles players and six doubles teams out of the Atlantic Coast Conference earned 2025 All-America honors in men’s tennis from the Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA), as announced Tuesday, May 27.
Eight ACC men’s tennis players were named ITA All-Americans in singles, highlighted by two players from both Virginia and Wake Forest. The honorees include:
- Carl Emil Overbeck (California)
- Corey Craig (Florida State)
- Sebastian Dominko (Notre Dame)
- Samir Banerjee (Stanford)
- Dylan Dietrich (Virginia)
- Rafael Jódar (Virginia)
- Stefan Dostanic (Wake Forest)
- DK Suresh Ekambaram (Wake Forest)
In doubles, six ACC pairs earned ITA All-America honors, led by three pairs from Wake Forest, the 2025 NCAA Division I Men’s Tennis Team National Champions. The additional honorees include:
- Cooper Williams & Theo Winegar (Duke)
- Alex Bulte & Youcef Rihane (Florida State)
- Braden Shick & Fons Van Sambeek (NC State)
- Luciano Tacchi & Luca Pow (Wake Forest)
- Charlie Robertson & DK Suresh Ekambaram (Wake Forest)
- Stefan Dostanic & DK Suresh Ekambaram (Wake Forest)
The criteria for earning ITA All-America Singles honors include:
- ITA All-American Singles Champion
- Advancing to the Round of 16 at the NCAA Singles Championships (November)
- Finishing in the Top 20 of the Final ITA Singles Rankings (May)
The criteria for earning ITA All-America Doubles honors include:
- ITA All-American Doubles Champion
- Advancing to the Quarterfinals at the NCAA Doubles Championships (November)
- Finishing in the Top 10 of the Final ITA Doubles Rankings (May)
