CHARLOTTE, N.C. (theACC.com) - In the 12th set of weekly honors for the 2026 Atlantic Coast Conference Softball season, Virginia Tech’s Michelle Chatfield was named the ACC Player of the Week, while Florida State’s Ashtyn Danley was voted the ACC Pitcher of the Week. Notre Dame’s Lily Hagan was named the ACC Freshman of the Week.
                                          
ACC Player of the Week
Michelle Chatfield, Virginia Tech, 1B, Jr. (Lovettsville, Virginia)

• Hit .583, going 7-for-12 on the week, with a 1.750 slugging percentage.
• Tallied four home runs, a triple and 11 RBI.
• Broke the program record with nine RBI in the Hokies’ win over North Carolina on Saturday, going 4-for-4 with three home runs, also tying the program record for home runs in a game.

ACC Pitcher of the Week
Ashtyn Danley, Florida State, Jr. (Winchester, Tennessee)

• Finished the weekend 3-0, earning the win in all three appearances, including a top-10 win over No. 8 Florida.
• Allowed just one run on five hits in 11.2 innings pitched, posting a 0.60 ERA.
• Finished the week with seven strikeouts while holding hitters to a .125 batting average.

 
ACC Freshman of the Week
Lily Hagan, Notre Dame, P/1B, Fr. (Colts Neck, New Jersey)

• Hit .667, going 6-for-9 in Notre Dame’s 4-0 week against Michigan State and three-game series against Boston College.
• Recorded five RBI and two doubles.
• Hit her team-leading seventh home run of the season against Michigan State, a two-run homer to blow the game open in the second inning.
