CHARLOTTE, N.C. (theACC.com) – Florida State sophomore Sophia Fullbrook and NC State sophomore Marie Madsen have been named the Atlantic Coast Conference Women’s Co-Golfers of the Month for March.
Sophia Fullbrook, So., Florida State (St. Albans, England)
- Recorded three top-10 finishes, including two individual titles, for the month.
- Led the Seminoles to a team win at the Florida State Match Up, claiming medalist honors at 10-under par.
- Won the individual title at the Coach Mo Classic at 4-under par, as FSU finished second in the team standings.
- Placed eighth at the Darius Rucker Intercollegiate in a field that featured 15 ranked teams.
Marie Madsen, So., NC State (Viborg, Denmark)
- Secured two individual titles and a top 15 finish in March.
- Opened the month with an individual title at the Daniel Island Invitational, leading the Wolfpack to a second-place team finish.
- Won the City of Oaks Collegiate as the only player to finish under par, finishing at 2-under par, leading NC State to the team championship.
- Tied for 11th at the rain-shortened Briars Creek Invitational.
ACC Women’s Golf Notes
- Throughout the 2025-26 season, ACC teams have won 25 team titles, with Stanford leading the way with five championships.
- Additionally, 21 different ACC players have won individual titles this season. NC State’s Marie Madsen has won a league-best three medalist honors.
- Stanford is No. 1 in the latest top 25 of the Scoreboard Team Rankings, followed by No. 9 Wake Forest, No. 11 Duke and No. 17 Florida State.
- Nine ACC players are ranked in the top 25 of the Scoreboard Individual Rankings, including five players in the top 10: No. 5 Andrea Revuelta (Stanford), No. 6 Paula Martín Sampedro (Stanford), No. 7 Megha Ganne (Stanford), No. 8 Rianne Malixi (Duke) and No. 9 Meja Örtengren (Stanford).
