This Weekend in ACC Baseball

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (theACC.com) – With three weekends remaining in the regular season, the Atlantic Coast Conference Baseball season will once again come down to a thrilling finish.

The top two teams in the ACC standings will compete in non-conference action this weekend. Third-ranked Georgia Tech will host Xavier for a three-game series beginning on Friday, May 1, while No. 2 North Carolina will play a non-conference game against Duke on Sunday, May 3, at 2 p.m. ET.

Wake Forest will host Louisville for a three-game set, beginning on Thursday, April 30, at 7 p.m. ET on ACC Network. The Cardinals and Demon Deacons enter the weekend separated by just one-half game in the league standings.

Miami and NC State will meet for three games in Raleigh, North Carolina, this weekend. The Hurricanes have won six straight weekend series, including five in ACC play, and would be the No. 4 seed in the 2026 ACC Baseball Championship if the season ended today. The Wolfpack will look to bounce back after dropping back-to-back league series.

Pitt will travel to Tallahassee, Florida, for three games against No. 14 Florida State. Pitt looks to build on its momentum following four top-15 wins a week ago, while the Seminoles aim to bounce back from being swept at Stanford.

After last weekend’s success, the Cardinal will head to South Bend, Indiana, to meet Notre Dame. The series will begin on Friday at 4:30 p.m. ET. If the season ended today, Stanford would be the No. 8 seed in the ACC Baseball Championship, earning the final bye into the second round.

California will welcome Virginia Tech to Berkeley for three games, beginning Friday at 9 p.m. ET. The Hokies enter the week as one of “Four Teams to Watch” in D1Baseball’s Projected Field of 64.

In non-conference action, No. 23 Virginia will host Radford for a doubleheader on Sunday, beginning at 1 p.m. ET.

The 2026 ACC Baseball Championship will begin on Tuesday, May 19, at Truist Field in Charlotte, North Carolina. All session passes and weekend passes can be purchased by visiting theACC.com/tickets or CharlotteKnights.comSingle-session tickets will go on sale on Tuesday, May 5.
