CHARLOTTE, N.C. (theACC.com) – Following a strong performance at the Rocky Top Invite, the Duke Varsity Four has been named the Atlantic Coast Conference Crew of the Week, the league announced Tuesday.
 
CREW OF THE WEEK – Duke Varsity Four

• Posted two victories and a runner-up finish at the Rocky Top Invite.
• Crossed the line first (7:16.593) in their opening race against No. 14 Penn (7:24.095), No. 25 UCLA (7:27.137) and Clemson (7:44.399) in their lone race on Friday.
• Opened Saturday with their second win of the regatta at 7:17.996, defeating No. 25 UCLA (7:22.828), No. 17 Alabama (7:28.668), Minnesota (7:34.328) and No. 24 USC (7:39.345).
• Closed the Invite by finishing second (7:22.491) to No. 5 Tennessee (7:16.917) but held off No. 25 UCLA (7:27.309), No. 14 Penn (7:29.836) and No. 17 Alabama (7:37.677).
