CHARLOTTE, N.C. (theACC.com) – With three games to play in the 2026 Atlantic Coast Conference Baseball regular season, Georgia Tech holds a two-game lead over North Carolina in the ACC standings. Teams around the ACC will look to post strong finishes to bolster NCAA Tournament resumes and improve their seeding for the 2026 ACC Baseball Championship, which begins on Tuesday, May 19, in Charlotte, North Carolina.
The Yellow Jackets, who are ranked No. 3 in the nation, will head to Massachusetts for a three-game series against No. 23 Boston College. The Yellow Jackets look to win the ACC regular-season championship for the second straight season, led by first-year head coach James Ramsey. The regular-season finale between the Yellow Jackets and Eagles will be televised on ACC Network, beginning at noon ET on Saturday, May 16.
North Carolina, ranked second nationally, will take on in-state rival NC State for three games, beginning on Thursday at 7 p.m. ET on ACC Network. The Tar Heels and Wolfpack will play a pair of contests on ACC Network, with Friday’s contest also being a linear broadcast, beginning at 7 p.m. ET.
In addition to the Tar Heels and Wolfpack, three other in-state rivalries will also take place in the Sunshine State, Tar Heel State and Golden State. Miami will travel to face No. 11 Florida State in Tallahassee, beginning Thursday at 6 p.m. ET. Duke will play host to in-state foe Wake Forest for three games, beginning Thursday at 6 p.m. ET. Stanford will head to Berkeley, California, for a three-game series against Cal, beginning Thursday at 10 p.m. ET.
Virginia Tech will host Clemson for a three-game series, beginning Thursday at 6 p.m. ET. The Hokies remain on the hunt for both a bye in the ACC Championship and an NCAA Tournament bid and look to further their postseason hopes at home versus the Tigers.
Notre Dame, who is riding a nine-game winning streak, heads east to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, for three games against Pitt. The Fighting Irish and Panthers will open their series at 6 p.m. ET on Thursday. Virginia and Louisville will also open a three-games series in Kentucky at 6 p.m. ET Thursday.

- The ACC accounts for nearly 25 percent of the Golden Spikes Award semifinalists, with six student-athletes named to the 25-player list. The award is given each year to the player who best exhibits exceptional on-field ability, exemplary sportsmanship and character, and an overall positive contribution to the sport.
- The ACC accounted for eight of the semifinalists for the Dick Howser Trophy, announced on Thursday, May 14. This prestigious award in college baseball has been given to the top player based on two rounds of national voting by NCBWA members since 1987.
- Louisville’s Tague Davis broke the ACC single-season home run record on Friday, May 8, against Miami. The Cardinals’ first baseman broke the record with his 32nd blast of the season, before hitting two more home runs on Tuesday, May 12, to begin the weekend with 34.
- With 17 ACC wins, Boston College has broken its program record for victories in ACC play. The Eagles enter the week No. 33 in the Diamond Sports Rankings (DSR), with eight wins over top-25 RPI opponents.
- As award season ramps up, the ACC is once again well represented in national honors. Seven pitchers were named semifinalists for the College Baseball Hall of Fame Pitcher of the Year Award, six shortstops were tabbed semifinalists for the Brooks Wallace Award and five pitchers were named to the NCBWA Stopper of the Year Midseason Watch List.
