CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – Virginia will square off against Duke in the 2023 Atlantic Coast Conference Men’s Tennis Championship on Sunday. First serve is set for 2 p.m. at the Cary Tennis Park. The match will be broadcast on ACC Network Extra.
No. 1 seed Virginia swept No. 5 Florida State, 4-0, at the Sheffield Indoor Courts at Duke University. No. 83 Ryan Goetz clinched the match for the Cavaliers over Florida State’s Joshua Dous Karpenschif, 6-4, 6-3.
No. 2 Duke and No. 6 Wake Forest battled down to the last sets at the Cone-Kenfield Indoor Courts at UNC, but it was the Blue Devils’ Andrew Dale on Court 5 who clinched the match for Duke. His three-set, 6-4, 4-6, 6-4 win over Wake Forest’s Lucciano Tacchi gave Duke the edge, 4-3.
