CHARLOTTE, N.C. (theACC.com) – Louisville's Will Mayew was named this week's Atlantic Coast Conference Men's Tennis Player of the Week, while Boston College's duo of Juan Jose Bianchi and Jake Vassel was selected as the Doubles Team of the Week. Clemson's Stewart Aronson and Georgia Tech's Krish Arora shared Freshman of the Week honors following the seventh week of competition.

Mayew picked up two singles wins in Louisville's doubleheader on Sunday, improving to a 9-1 singles record through the season this far. The No. 72 ranked sophomore took home a straight-set win over No. 36 Indiana on Court 4 before moving up to Court 2 against IUPUI, securing another two-set win in the Cardinals' 7-0 sweep of the Jaguars. The Cary, North Carolina, native has won four singles matches in a row to go along with two straight doubles wins.

Bianchi and Vassel went undefeated on the weekend, earning a 6-2 win over Southern New Hampshire on Court 1 in Boston College’s first match of the weekend. The 28th-ranked duo then upset Duke's No. 13 ranked pair of Michael Heller and Andrew Zhang, 7-5, in BC’s first ACC match of the season.

Aronson recorded a 4-0 weekend as Clemson took down Furman, 6-1, and swept Wofford, 7-0. The freshman clinched the doubles point against Furman before claiming the first singles win on Court 5 at 6-2, 6-0. Against Wofford, he and his partner Marko Mesarovic won the first doubles match, and with the match clinched, played a super tiebreak, securing the win on Court 4, 6-4, 3-6, 1-0 (8).

Arora also went 4-0 over the weekend as Georgia Tech recorded wins against UNC Wilmington and Mercer. He and Richard Biagiotti then claimed the first doubles win of the day against Mercer to help secure the doubles point. The Vancouver, Canada, native moved up to Court 4 and earned a 6-2, 6-2 victory in singles action to push Georgia Tech to 9-2 on the season.
