CHARLOTTE, N.C. (theACC.com) - Seven league matches are on tap this weekend in Atlantic Coast Conference Men's Soccer.

Two matches air on ACC Network this weekend, beginning with Pitt traveling to Duke at 8 p.m. ET on Friday, October 3. ACCN also has a top-20 matchup on Sunday, October 5, with No. 16 Virginia visiting No. 2 NC State.

Noting ACC Men's Soccer
• Five ACC teams are ranked in the United Soccer Coaches Poll: NC State (2), Stanford (3), Duke (9), Virginia (16) and Notre Dame (23). That is the most of any league.
• In the NCAA's Thursday RPI report, nine ACC teams stand among the top 30, highlighted by NC State (3), Stanford (9), Virginia (10) and Duke (11).
• ACC teams have combined for a 60-15-16 record in non-conference play (.747 win percentage, best of any league). They are 13-0-1 in non-conference play since Sept. 22.
• Five ACC teams rank among the top 15 nationally in scoring offense: No. 1 Duke (3.11), No. 3 NC State (2.9), No. 10 Clemson (2.67), No. 11 Wake Forest (2.6) and No. 15 Stanford (2.45).
• NC State's Donavan Phillip leads the nation in goals with 14. The next closest player has 11. Clemson's Ransford Gyan is sixth nationally with eight goals.
• Conference play passes the halfway mark this weekend, with Week 5 of 9. Clemson is idle in ACC play this weekend and plays Elon on Saturday.
• Five ACC standouts were named to the Men’s Hermann Trophy Watch List: Ransford Gyan (Clemson), Ulfur Bjornsson (Duke), Luca Nikolai (UNC), Casper Svendby (Pitt) and Cooper Flax (Wake Forest).
• ACC teams have won 20 NCAA men’s soccer championships, with 11 since 2001, including three of the last four (Clemson 2021 & 2023, Syracuse 2022). Eight active ACC programs have won at least one national championship, the most of any conference. The 15 active ACC schools have combined for 20 titles.
• At least one ACC team has reached the Men's College Cup in 22 of the last 24 seasons. Thirteen of the 15 active ACC programs have reached the College Cup. Sixty-five ACC teams have reached the College Cup all-time.
