CHARLOTTE, N.C. (theACC.com) – NC State’s Will Denny was named the Atlantic Coast Conference Wrestler of the Week for competition in Week Seven of the 2025-26 season.
 
Will Denny, Fr., 165 pounds, NC State (Manhattan, Illinois)

• Notched another ranked upset win with a 6-5 sudden victory win over two-time NCAA qualifier and No. 11-ranked Paddy Gallagher of Ohio State.
• Recorded his second top-15 win of the season.
• Improved to 5-2 in his first collegiate season.
• Moved from No. 19 to No. 15 in this week’s InterMat Individual Rankings following the win.
