2025 NCAA Gymnastics Regionals Begin Wednesday

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (theACC.com) - The 2025 National Collegiate Women’s Gymnastics Championships regionals are slated to begin on Wednesday, April 2. No. 6 California, No. 13 Stanford, No. 19 NC State, No. 22 North Carolina and No. 27 Clemson are all part of the 36-team field.

The University Park and Salt Lake City Regionals will begin on Wednesday while the Seattle and Tuscaloosa Regionals are set to begin on Thursday, April 3.

The University of Alabama will host California, Clemson, North Carolina and NC State in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, for the Tuscaloosa Regional. Clemson will take on Rutgers in a dual-meet as the lone ACC team in the first round. In the second round, No. 6 California and North Carolina will compete in a quad meet with No. 11 Alabama and Iowa, while NC State will take on No. 3 Florida, No. 14 Oregon and the winner of Clemson versus Rutgers.

No. 13 seed Stanford will head to Salt Lake City, Utah, to take on Utah, Denver, and the winner of BYU versus Utah State’s first-round dual meet in the Utah Regional.

Pitt’s Elizabeth Cesarone qualified as an individual event specialist on vault. Cesarone will head to University Park, Pennsylvania, as the lone Panther in the University Park Regional. Clemson’s Madison Minner (vault), Hannah Clark (bars) and Brie Clark (floor) are the only other ACC gymnasts to qualify as individual event specialists.

The top two teams from each regional will receive an automatic berth to the national championships. In addition, the top all-around competitor and top event specialist from round two at each regional (who is not on a team advancing to the nationals) will advance to the national championships. Event specialist qualifiers will only compete in the events they qualified.

The 2025 national championship will take place from April 17-19 at the Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas.
