This Week in ACC Women's Tennis

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (theACC.com) - The second weekend of the 2026 Atlantic Coast Conference Women’s Tennis spring season begins on Friday, January 23.

The weekend slate is highlighted by a Top 25 matchup between No. 15 California and No. 25 Baylor. The Golden Bears will travel to Waco, Texas, to take on the 2-0 Bears on Saturday, January 24, at 6 p.m. ET.

The ACC had six teams ranked in the most recent Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Division I Women’s Top 25 Coaches Poll, highlighted by North Carolina at No. 3. Duke (No. 8) and Stanford (No. 9) rounded out the top 10, while NC State (No. 11), Virginia (No. 14) and California (No. 15) filled out the rest of the top 15.

Noting ACC Women’s Tennis
  • North Carolina’s Reese Brantmeier won the 2025-26 NCAA Division I Women’s Tennis Singles Championship on Sunday, November 23, at the USTA National Campus in Orlando, Florida.
  • The NC State doubles team of Gabriella Broadfoot and Victoria Osuigwe won the 2025 NCAA Division I Women’s Tennis Doubles Championship on Sunday, November 23, at the USTA National Campus in Orlando, Florida. 
  • ACC women’s tennis players earned a total of 10 ITA All-America honors at the 2025 NCAA Singles & Doubles Championships. The complete list of All-Americans will be announced at the end of the 2025–26 season once all criteria are met.
