This Week in ACC Women’s Soccer

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (theACC.com) – A pair of Top-25 matchups will headline this week’s Atlantic Coast Conference women’s soccer schedule, as the countdown to the 2026 ACC Women’s Soccer Championship continues.

On Friday, October 23, two top-10 teams collide when No. 7 Stanford heads east to face No. 2 North Carolina at 6 p.m. ET on ACC Network. The matchup marks the Cardinal’s first trip to Dorrance Field as ACC members and their first meeting since Stanford earned a 1-0 victory on October 13, 2024. The Tar Heels look to bounce back after their nine-match winning streak was snapped by Wake Forest last Sunday, while the Cardinal are unbeaten in their last four matches.

The top-25 action continue Saturday, October 24, when No. 17 Notre Dame visits No. 15 Florida State for a 7 p.m. ET kickoff on ACC Network Extra. Both teams enter on winning streaks, as the Fighting Irish have won back-to-back matches following their first setback of the season to North Carolina on October 2. The Seminoles have the longest active winning streak in the ACC with three straight victories.

The 2026 ACC Women’s Soccer Championship begins Sunday, November 8, with first-round action on campus sites before moving to First Horizon Stadium at WakeMed Soccer Park in Cary, North Carolina, for the semifinals on Thursday, November 12, and the final on Sunday, November 15.
