CHARLOTTE, N.C. (theACC.com) – Virginia’s Wynton Denkins was tabbed the Atlantic Coast Conference Wrestler of the Week for competition in Week 14 of the 2025-26 season, it was announced on Tuesday.

Wynton Denkins, Jr., 149 pounds, Virginia (Perrysburg, Ohio)

• Posted his highest-ranked win of the season with a 3-2 decision over No. 6 Collin Gaj of Virginia Tech.
• His win put the Cavaliers down just three at 10-7 to No. 7 Virginia Tech in the Commonwealth Clash.
• The match marked his sixth against a top-10 opponent this season.
• Improved to 15-9 on the season with the win.
