ACC Announces Women's Tennis Players of the Week

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (theACC.com) - In the third set of weekly honors for the 2025-26 Atlantic Coast Conference Women’s Tennis season, the NC State duo of Gabriella Broadfoot and Victoria Osuigwe was named the ACC Women’s Doubles Team of the Week, and Osuigwe was named the ACC Women's Freshman of the Week. Additionally, North Carolina’s Reese Brantmeier was named the ACC Women’s Player of the Week.
 
ACC WOMEN’S DOUBLES TEAM OF THE WEEK
Gabriella Broadfoot, NC State, Jr. (Johannesburg, South Africa)
Victoria Osuigwe, NC State, Fr. (Bradenton, Florida)
  • Won two doubles matches against ranked opponents in a team win over No. 23 Florida and a setback to No. 3 North Carolina.
    • Defeated No. 17 Nikola Daubnerova and Xinyi Nong of Florida, 6-4.
    • Defeated No. 11 Reese Brantmeier and Alanis Hamilton of North Carolina, 6-4.
ACC WOMEN’S PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Reese Brantmeier, North Carolina, Sr. (Whitewater, Wisconsin)
  • Defeated NC State’s No. 29 Gabriella Broadfoot, 6-4, 6-7 (4), 6-4.
  • Defeated Georgia’s No. 61 Anastasiia Lopata, 7-6 (5), 6-4
  • Helped Hamilton to a doubles win over the Georgia duo of Deniz Dilek and Aysegul Mert, 6-3.
  • Helped the Tar Heels to team wins over No. 9 NC State, 4-3, and No. 1 Georgia, 5-2.
ACC WOMEN’S FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK

  • Defeated Brooke Black of No. 23 Florida, 7-6 (3), 4-6, 7-5.
  • Defeated No. 51 Theadora Rabman of No. 3 North Carolina, 6-4, 6-3.
  • Helped defeat the Florida duo of No. 23 Nikola Daubnerova and Xinyi Nong, 6-4.
  • Helped defeat the North Carolina duo of No. 11 Reese Bratnmeier and Alanis Hamilton, 6-4.
