CHARLOTTE, N.C. (theACC.com) - In the second set of weekly honors for the 2025-26 Atlantic Coast Conference Women’s Tennis season, the North Carolina duo of Reese Brantmeier and Alanis Hamilton was named the ACC Women’s Doubles Team of the Week, and Brantmeier was named the ACC Women's Player of the Week. Additionally, Clemson’s Rinon Okuwaki was named the ACC Women’s Freshman of the Week.
 
ACC WOMEN’S DOUBLES TEAM OF THE WEEK
Reese Brantmeier, North Carolina, Sr. (Whitewater, Wisconsin)
Alanis Hamilton, North Carolina, So. (Dallas, Texas)

• Won both doubles matches to help lead North Carolina to a 6-1 win over No. 14 Virginia and a 4-0 win over Charlotte in the ITA Kick-Off Weekend.
  • Defeated No. 10 Annabelle Xu and Martina Genis Salas of Virginia, 6-3.
  • Defeated No. 47 Ni Xi and Sara Suchankova of Charlotte, 6-2.

 
ACC WOMEN’S PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Reese Brantmeier, North Carolina, Sr. (Whitewater, Wisconsin)

• Defeated Virginia’s No. 30 Vivian Yang, 6-1, 6-2.
• Defeated Charlotte’s No. 72 Ni Xi, 6-0, 6-0.
• Helped Hamilton to two doubles victories over two ranked doubles opponents.

 
ACC WOMEN’S FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK
Rinon Okuwaki, Clemson, Fr. (Saitama, Japan)

• Defeated Chantal Sauvant of No. 13 Pepperdine, 7-6 (2), 6-3.
• Defeated Francesca Mattioli of No. 16 Tennessee, 6-4, 6-3.
• Helped defeat the Pepperdine duo of Chantal Sauvant and Anastasiia Grechkina, 7-6 (5).
• Helped defeat the Tennessee duo of No. 15 Leyla Britzen Risso and Catherin Aulia, 6-4.
