This Week in ACC Men's Tennis

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (theACC.com) - Week five of the 2026 Atlantic Coast Conference Men’s Tennis spring season will see a full slate of weekend matches, kicking off on Thursday, February 5, as North Caroline hosts Furman at 3 p.m. ET and Virginia Tech hosts Middle Tennessee at 5 p.m. ET.

This weekend’s matches feature three top-25 matchups, headlined by a matchup of the nation’s top two teams between No. 1 Virginia and No. 2 Ohio State on Saturday, February 7, at 1 p.m. ET in Columbus, Ohio. On Friday, February 6, No. 24 Pepperdine will host No. 4 Stanford in Malibu, California, at 5 p.m. ET. No. 20 Duke will close out the weekend in Columbia, South Carolina, taking on the No. 14 Gamecocks on Sunday at noon ET.

In the most recent Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Division I Men’s Top 25 Coaches Poll announced on Wednesday, February 4, the ACC had six teams ranked, highlighted by Virginia at No. 1, Wake Forest at No. 3 and Stanford at No. 4. NC State (No. 13), Clemson (No. 16) and Duke (No. 20) filled out the rest of the rankings.

Noting ACC Men’s Tennis
  • SMU’s Trevor Svajda was ranked as the No. 1 overall singles player in the country on Wednesday, February 4, in the ITA Individual Rankings.
  • Virginia’s Måns Dahlberg and Dylan Dietrich won the 2025 NCAA Division I Men’s Tennis Doubles Championship on Sunday, November 23, at the USTA National Campus in Orlando, Florida.
  • ACC men’s tennis players earned 11 ITA All-American honors in singles or doubles at the 2025 NCAA Singles and Doubles Championships. The full list of All-America honorees will be announced at the conclusion of the 2025–26 season once all criteria have been finalized.
  • The 2025 ACC Men’s and Women’s Tennis Championships will be held April 14-19 at Cary Tennis Park in Cary, North Carolina.
