CHARLOTTE, N.C. (theACC.com) - In the ninth set of weekly honors for the 2025-26 Atlantic Coast Conference Women’s Tennis season, the NC State duo of Gabriella Broadfoot and Victoria Osuigwe was named the ACC Women’s Doubles Team of the Week. Additionally, Virginia’s Vivian Yang was named the ACC Player of the Week, while Clemson’s Rinon Okuwaki was named the ACC Women’s Freshman of the Week.

ACC WOMEN’S DOUBLES TEAM OF THE WEEK
Gabriella Broadfoot, NC State, Jr. (Johannesburg, South Africa)
Victoria Osuigwe, NC State, Fr. (Bradenton, Florida)

• Won two doubles matches on the weekend to help lead the Wolfpack to wins over Wake Forest and No. 32 SMU.
  • Defeated the SMU duo of No. 10 Caroline McGinley and Amelie Van Impe, 6-3.
  • Defeated the Wake Forest duo of Nevena Carton and Kady Tannenbaum, 6-1.

ACC WOMEN’S PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Vivian Yang, Virginia, Jr. (Auckland, New Zealand)

• Led Virginia to conference wins over No. 18 Clemson and No. 59 Georgia Tech.
• Defeated Georgia Tech’s No. 58 Alejandra Cruz, 6-4, 3-6, 6-0.
• Defeated Clemson’s Jade Goen, 6-2, 6-3.
• Went 2-0 with two ranked wins in doubles action, clinching the doubles point in each match.
  • Defeated Clemson’s No. 35 Jade Groen and Rinon Okuwaki, 7-6 (5).
  • Defeated Georgia Tech’s No. 52 Alejandra Cruz and Seri Nayuki, 6-2.

ACC WOMEN’S FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK

• Defeated Virginia’s No. 25 Annabelle Xu, 6-2, 6-1.
• Moved to 15 singles wins on the spring season.
