This Week in ACC Men's Tennis

CHARLOTTE, N.C. (theACC.com) - The 12th weekend of the 2026 Atlantic Coast Conference Men’s Tennis spring season will see a full slate of conference matches this weekend, beginning Thursday, March 26, as Stanford hosts Georgia Tech at 4 p.m. ET and Clemson hosts California at 8 p.m. ET.

No. 1 Wake Forest (23-2) leads the conference as the Demon Deacons remain the lone undefeated team in league competition at 8-0. NC State (15-2) and Virginia are tied for second place, both at 7-1 in conference competition.

In the most recent Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Division I Men’s Top 25 Coaches Poll announced on Tuesday, March 17, the ACC has five teams ranked, highlighted by Wake Forest at No. 1 and Virginia at No. 4. Notre Dame (No. 18), NC State (No. 19) and Stanford (No. 22) filled out the rest of the top 25.

Noting ACC Men’s Tennis
  • SMU’s Trevor Svajda and Virginia’s Dylan Dietrich were ranked as the No. 1 and 2 overall singles players in the country, respectively, on Tuesday, March 17, in the ITA Individual Rankings. 
  • Virginia's duo of Mans Dahlberg and Dylan Dietrich is ranked No. 3 nationally in doubles, while Wake Forest's DK Suresh Ekambaram and Andrew Delgado are ranked No. 5.
  • Virginia reached the semifinals of the 2026 ITA Division I Men’s National Team Indoor Championships, securing wins over Clemson (4-0) and Mississippi State (4-1) before falling to Ohio State (4-2) in the semifinals.
  • Virginia’s Måns Dahlberg and Dylan Dietrich won the 2025 NCAA Division I Men’s Tennis Doubles Championship on Sunday, November 23, at the USTA National Campus in Orlando, Florida.
  • The 2026 ACC Men’s and Women’s Tennis Championships will be held April 14-19 at Cary Tennis Park in Cary, North Carolina.
