CHARLOTTE, N.C. (theACC.com) - In the ninth set of weekly honors for the 2025-26 Atlantic Coast Conference Men’s Tennis season, the NC State duo of Martin Borisiouck and Jules Leroux was named the ACC Men’s Doubles Team of the Week. Additionally, SMU’s Georgi Georgiev was named the ACC Men’s Player of the Week, while Wake Forest’s Mees Rottgering was named the ACC Men’s Freshman of the Week.
 
ACC MEN’S DOUBLES TEAM OF THE WEEK
Martin Borisiouk, NC State, Sr. (Minsk, Belarus)
Jules Leroux, NC State, R-So. (Cannes, France)

• Went 2-0 in doubles play on the weekend, including a win over a top 20 opponent.
  • Defeated the Florida State duo of No. 17 Erik Schiessl and Luis Felipe Miguel, 6-4.
  • Defeated the Miami duo of Antonio Prat and Jakub Kroslak, 6-3.

ACC MEN’S PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Georgi Georgiev, SMU, So. (Svilengrad, Bulgaria)

• Recorded two ranked singles wins on the weekend while clinching the win over North Carolina.
  • Defeated Duke’s No. 123 Planelles Ripoll, 6-1, 6-0.
  • Defeated North Carolina’s No. 82 Ian Mayew, 7-5, 4-6, 6-2.

ACC MEN’S FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK
Mees Rottgering, Wake Forest, Fr. (Wanssum, Netherlands)

• Scored a singles win and two doubles victories to help lead Wake Forest to two team wins on the week.
  • Florida State’s No. 79 Erik Shiessl, 4-6, 6-0, 6-2.
  • Defeated Miami’s duo of Rafael Segado and Jules Garot, 6-1.
  • Defeated Florida State’s duo of Justin Lyons and Mohammad Alkotop, 6-4.
