CHARLOTTE, N.C. (theACC.com) - In the eighth set of weekly honors for the 2025-26 Atlantic Coast Conference Men’s Tennis season, the North Carolina duo of Roan Jones and Anthony Wright was named the ACC Men’s Doubles Team of the Week. Additionally, Virginia’s Dylan Dietrich was named the ACC Men’s Player of the Week, while Notre Dame’s Nicholas Patrick was named the ACC Men’s Freshman of the Week.
 
ACC MEN’S DOUBLES TEAM OF THE WEEK
Roan Jones, North Carolina, Sr. (Shrewsbury, England)
Anthony Wright, North Carolina, So. (London, England)

• Went 2-0 in doubles play on the weekend with two wins over top 25 opponents.
  • Defeated the Stanford duo of No. 8 Alex Chang and Alex Razeghi, 6-4.
  • Defeated the California duo of No. 22 Timofey Stepanov and Tiago Silva, 6-2.

ACC MEN’S PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Dylan Dietrich, Virginia, Jr. (Zurich, Switzerland)

• Recorded a singles win over the No. 1-ranked player in the nation, SMU’s Trevor Svajda, 3-6, 6-1, 6-3, to help lead Virginia to two team wins on the weekend.

ACC MEN’S FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK
Nicholas Patrick, Notre Dame, Fr. (Coal Valley, Illinois)

• Scored a singles win and three doubles victories to help lead Notre Dame to three wins on the week.
  • Defeated IU Indy’s Brandon Pham, 6-1, 6-3.
  • Defeated the Florida State duo of Oren Ezerzer and Gabor Hornung, 7-6 (5) to clinch the doubles point.
  • Defeated the Miami duo of Saud Alhogbani and Nacho Serra Sanchez, 6-0.
  • Defeated the IU Indy duo of Pumiphat Sukkho and Eli Mercer, 6-2.
