CHARLOTTE, N.C. (theACC.com) - In the 10th set of weekly honors for the 2026 Atlantic Coast Conference Softball season, Duke’s Aminah Vega was named the ACC Player of the Week, while Georgia Tech’s Madalyn Johnson was voted the ACC Pitcher of the Week for the second straight week. NC State’s Morgen Talley was named the ACC Freshman of the Week.
                                          
ACC Player of the Week
Aminah Vega, Duke, 2B, Sr. (DeBary, Florida)

• Hit .750, going 9-for-12 on the weekend, including four home runs and four doubles.
• Posted a 2.083 slugging percentage.
• Scored 10 of Duke’s 36 runs on the week and drove in five RBIs.

ACC Pitcher of the Week
Madalyn Johnson, Georgia Tech, P, So. (Powhatan, Virginia)

• Threw three complete games across her three appearances in the circle on the week, posting a 0.78 ERA over 18.0 innings pitched.
• Finished the week with 21 strikeouts while holding opponents to a .125 batting average.
• Recorded a career-high 12 strikeouts against Iowa.

ACC Freshman of the Week
Morgen Talley, NC State, UTL, Fr. (Palm Harbor, Florida)

• Hit.500 (8-for-16) at the plate in four games, driving in 13 RBIs and scoring four runs.
• Recorded two home runs in the series against California, both of grand slams.
• Tied the program record with seven RBIs against the Golden Bears on Friday, April 10.
• Went 3-0 with one save on the week in the circle for the Wolfpack.
• Struck out 14 batters over 10.3 innings pitched.
