CHARLOTTE, N.C. (theACC.com) – The top four seeds advanced through the quarterfinals of the 2026 Atlantic Coast Conference Women’s Lacrosse Championship on Wednesday, April 22, as Clemson, North Carolina, Stanford and Syracuse notched wins at American Legion Memorial Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Top-seeded North Carolina started the day with a 15-11 victory over No. 8 seed Duke, and No. 4 seed Syracuse followed with an 11-9 triumph over No. 5 seed Virginia. In Game 3, No. 2 seed Stanford doubled up No. 7 Boston College, 14-7, and in the nightcap, No. 3 seed Clemson topped No. 6 Notre Dame, 12-9.
The semifinals are slated for Friday, April 24, with North Carolina and Syracuse facing off at 5 p.m. ET and Stanford and Clemson following at 8 p.m. ET. The winners play on Sunday, April 26, in the championship game at noon ET. ACC Network has the broadcast of each game.

No. 1 North Carolina 15, No. 8 Duke 11
Chloe Humphrey scored four goals and assisted on two more as North Carolina (14-1) opened the tournament by downing rival Duke (9-8) for the second time in a week. UNC dominated the draw, winning 20 of the 27 draw attempts. Bella Goodwin recorded a pair of goals for the Blue Devils.
No. 4 Syracuse 11, No. 5 Virginia 9
Emma Muchnick racked up four goals and Syracuse (13-4) held off a fourth-quarter Virginia comeback to advance to the semifinals. After trailing by as many as five goals in the third quarter, UVA (8-9) pulled within 10-9 in the fourth quarter, but Molly Guzik scored with 2:34 left to help thwart the rally. Fiona Allen and Megan Rocklein scored two goals for Virginia.
No. 2 Stanford 14, No. 7 Boston College 7
Aliya Polisky recorded a hat trick to lead Stanford (14-3) to its first-ever ACC semifinal appearance. Lucy Pearson recorded 11 saves for the Eagles, who rolled to the win despite Boston College holding a commanding 16-5 edge in draw controls. Marissa White scored two goals and added an assist for Boston College (9-7).
No. 3 Clemson 12, No. 6 Notre Dame 9
Brooke Goldstein tallied four goals and Natalie Shurtleff posted a hat trick as Clemson (14-4) recorded its 11th straight win, advancing to the semifinals for the second straight season. After the teams were tied 5-5 at the half, the Tigers scored the first five goals of the second half to open up a lead. Playing without injured leading scorer Kate Timarky, Notre Dame (12-5) received hat tricks from Emma Murphy and Meghan O’Hare.
