CHARLOTTE, N.C. (theACC.com) - In the 12th set of weekly honors for the 2025-26 Atlantic Coast Conference Women’s Tennis season, the North Carolina duo of Reese Brantmeier and Alanis Hamilton was named the ACC Women’s Doubles Team of the Week for the second straight week, while Brantmeier was tabbed the ACC Women’s Player of the Week. Additionally, Virginia’s Kaitlyn Rolls was voted the ACC Women’s Freshman of the Week for the third straight week.
ACC WOMEN’S DOUBLES TEAM OF THE WEEK
Reese Brantmeier, North Carolina, Sr. (Whitewater, Wisconsin)
Alanis Hamilton, North Carolina, So. (Dallas, Texas)
- Picked up two ranked doubles victories over the weekend, helping lead the Tar Heels to a 3-0 week with a pair of top-25 wins over No. 20 Clemson and No. 24 Duke.
- Defeated Duke’s No. 84 Eleana Yu and Claire An, 6-4.
- Knpcked off Clemson’s No. 90 Romana Cisovska and Talia Neilson-Gatenby, 6-2.
- Downed Georgia Tech’s Alejandra Cruz and Seri Nayuki, 6-3.
ACC WOMEN’S PLAYER OF THE WEEK

- Went 3-0 in both singles and doubles play, recording three ranked singles wins and two ranked doubles wins.
- Topped Duke’s No. 15 Irina Balus, 6-4, 7-5.
- Defeated Clemson’s No. 53 Rinon Ikuwaki, 6-4, 6-2.
- Downed Georgia Tech’s No. 66 Alejandra Cruz, 6-3, 6-1.

- Recorded two singles wins and a doubles win to help lead the Cavaliers to an 11-match win streak.
