CHARLOTTE, N.C. (theACC.com) - The final week of the 2026 Atlantic Coast Conference Women’s Tennis regular season gets underway on Wednesday, April 8, as No. 14 NC State and No. 22 Duke face off for an in-state rivalry and top-25 match at 4 p.m. ET.
This weekend’s matches will feature another ranked matchup, as No. 14 NC State heads to Charlottesville, Virginia, to take on No. 8 Virginia on Sunday, April 12, at 1 p.m. ET.
Virginia (17-4) sits atop the league standings with a perfect 10-0 conference record. North Carolina (21-2) and NC State (18-5) are tied for second with matching league records of 9-1.
The ACC has six teams ranked in the most recent Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Division I Women’s Top 25 Coaches Poll, highlighted by North Carolina at No. 5. Virginia (No. 8), NC State (No. 14), Duke (No. 22), California (No. 23) and Clemson (No. 24) filled out the rest of the top 25.

- NC State’s duo of Gabriella Broadfoot and Victoria Osuigwe (No. 2) and North Carolina’s duo of Reese Brantmeier and Alanis Hamilton (No. 5) were ranked in the top 5 in the ITA Doubles Rankings released on April 7. Brantmeier is ranked No. 2 nationally in singles.
- North Carolina’s Reese Brantmeier won the 2025-26 NCAA Division I Women’s Tennis Singles Championship on Sunday, November 23, at the USTA National Campus in Orlando, Florida.
- The NC State doubles team of Gabriella Broadfoot and Victoria Osuigwe won the 2025 NCAA Division I Women’s Tennis Doubles Championship on Sunday, November 23, at the USTA National Campus in Orlando, Florida.
- ACC women’s tennis players earned a total of 10 ITA All-America honors at the 2025 NCAA Singles & Doubles Championships. The complete list of All-Americans will be announced at the end of the 2025–26 season once all criteria are met.
