CHARLOTTE, N.C. (theACC.com) – The Atlantic Coast Conference Outdoor Track & Field slate continues this week, with programs spanning out across the country for a full weekend of highly competitive meets.
The week will open with the Duke Invitational in Durham, North Carolina. The Blue Devils will be joined by Boston College and Virginia on Wednesday, April 8, while North Carolina, Syracuse and Wake Forest will participate in the meet later in the week. North Carolina will also send student-athletes to the South Florida Invitational in Tampa, Florida. The Orange will also take part in the Big Red Invitational in Ithaca, New York, on Saturday, April 11.
Also beginning on Thursday will be the Oklahoma Throws Series in Ramona, Oklahoma. The ACC will be represented by Louisville in the high-level throws meet, which saw California’s Mykolas Alekna set the world record in the discus throw in 2025.
Cal and Stanford will compete in The 131st Big Meet, the annual dual-meet between the two Bay Area rivals. Stanford will host this year’s meet.
On Friday, April 10, Miami will host the Hurricane Alumni Invitational. The Hurricanes will be joined by Wake Forest for the two-day meet in Coral Gables, Florida. In Tallahassee, Florida, Florida State will host the Dick Roberts Seminole Invitational, which will also feature Clemson.
SMU will compete in the 44 Farms Team Invitational, hosted by Texas A&M, while Syracuse will take part in the Friar Invitational, hosted by Providence. Georgia Tech will travel to Cleveland, Tennessee, for the Lee Fast Break Athletics Invitational, while also competing in the Spec Town Invitational in Athens, Georgia, alongside fellow ACC member Virginia Tech.
