CHARLOTTE, N.C. (theACC.com) – The penultimate week of the Atlantic Coast Conference Women's Lacrosse regular season features six conference games as well as one non-conference matchup. Four of the league contests pit top-25 teams against one another.

On Friday at 6 p.m. ET on ESPNU, No. 12 Stanford visits No. 2 North Carolina in a battle between the top two teams in the ACC standings, with UNC at 8-0 and Stanford at 7-1. With a win, the Tar Heels would clinch the ACC regular-season title and the No. 1 seed in the upcoming ACC Women's Lacrosse Championship, which will be played April 22-26 at American Legion Memorial Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina.

On Saturday, No. 17 Duke plays at No. 11 Clemson at noon ET on ACC Network, and No. 19 Notre Dame travels to No. 3 Syracuse at noon ET on ACCNX. No. 10 Boston College visits No. 24 Virginia at 1 p.m. ET on ESPNU. No. 25 Pitt plays at Louisville at noon ET, and Virginia Tech heads west to face California at 6 p.m. ET, with both games airing on ACCNX.

In non-conference action on Sunday, Stanford completes its East Coast weekend with a noon ET game at Elon.

Nine ACC women’s lacrosse teams are ranked among the top 25 teams in the latest IWLCA poll, the most among all conferences. Three ACC teams stand in the top 10, with North Carolina at No. 2, Syracuse at No. 3 and Boston College at No. 10. Also among the top 25: No. 11 Clemson, No. 12 Stanford, No. 17 Duke, No. 19 Notre Dame, No. 24 Virginia and No. 25 Pitt.

Noting ACC Women's Lacrosse
• Clemson freshman attacker Alexa Spallina earned ACC Offensive Player of the Week honors, while North Carolina sophomore midfielder Kate Levy was selected as the ACC Defensive Player of the Week for games played from March 30-April 5.
• Syracuse currently owns the nation’s second-longest active win streak at 11 games, while Clemson is tied for the third longest at eight games.
• Seven teams have clinched ACC Tournament bids: North Carolina, Stanford, Syracuse, Boston College, Clemson, Duke and Notre Dame. The final bid remains up for grabs.
• No. 3 Syracuse, No. 7 Stanford, No. 10 North Carolina, No. 14 Boston College and No. 17 Clemson rank among the top 20 in the latest RPI rankings.
• North Carolina leads the conference at 8-0, while Stanford is second at 7-1. Syracuse is third at 6-2.
• ACC teams are 56-19 (.747) in non-conference play this season.
• 24 ACC players have been named to the watch list for the 2026 Tewaaraton Award. That is the most of any conference.
• 16 ACC players were named 2026 Midseason All-Americans by Inside Lacrosse, most of any conference. Eight more were named honorable mention. North Carolina led all ACC programs with four midseason All-Americans.
• Five ACC players earned First-Team All-America honors on Inside Lacrosse's midseason team: UNC's Sam Forrest, Chloe Humphrey and Eliza Osburn, BC's Shea Beaker and Stanford's Kate Bellissimo.
• Now in its 30th season, ACC women's lacrosse expanded to 13 teams this year, as Florida State competes in its inaugural season.
• Reigning ACC and NCAA champion North Carolina is the preseason favorite to win the 2026 ACC Championship, following a vote of the ACC’s head coaches. The Tar Heels also put a league-best four players on the Preseason All-ACC Team. 
• 21 ACC women's lacrosse games are scheduled for linear television, including 18 on ACC Network and three on ESPNU. All seven games of the ACC Championship will air on ACC Network.
• Sixteen current or former ACC players are part of the 22-woman roster for the 2026 U.S. World Lacrosse Championship Team. The championship will be contested July 24-August 2 in Tokyo. The team will be coached by current Boston College head coach Acacia Walker-Weinstein.
• For the first time, ACC teams will play a 10-game conference schedule this season. The conference tournament features the top eight teams in the final standings, competing April 22-26 at American Legion Memorial Stadium in Charlotte.
• North Carolina won its fourth national championship in program history in 2025, completing an undefeated season with a 12-8 victory over Northwestern in the title game. 
• Since the ACC began sponsoring women's lacrosse in 1997, ACC teams have won 14 NCAA titles, including four of the last five.
• With Boston College and North Carolina in 2025, the ACC had at least two teams competing in the NCAA's Championship Weekend for the 20th time in league history, including the seventh straight.
