CHARLOTTE, N.C. (theACC.com) – Six Atlantic Coast Conference Women's Lacrosse league games are slated for this weekend. Two matchups of top-25 teams will be showcased on ACC Network, with No. 2 North Carolina traveling to No. 22 Virginia on Friday at 4 p.m. ET, and No. 4 Syracuse visiting No. 17 Duke on Saturday at 4 p.m. ET.

In non-conference action on Saturday, No. 13 Boston College travels to No. 16 Loyola Maryland.

Nine ACC teams are ranked among the top 25 teams in the latest IWLCA poll, the most among all conferences. Three ACC teams stand in the top 10, with North Carolina at No. 2, Syracuse at No. 4 and Stanford at No. 10. Also among the top 25: No. 11 Clemson, No. 13 Boston College, No. 14 Notre Dame, No. 17 Duke, No. 22 Virginia and No. 24 Pitt.

Noting ACC Women's Lacrosse
• Boston College sophomore attacker Giulia Colarusso and North Carolina sophomore attacker Chloe Humphrey shared ACC Offensive Player of the Week honors, while BC senior goalkeeper Shea Dolce earned the ACC Defensive Player of the Week distinction for games played from March 23-29.
• Syracuse currently owns the nation’s second-longest active win streak at nine games, while Clemson is tied for the third longest at seven games.
• No. 3 Syracuse, No. 8 Stanford, No. 9 North Carolina, No. 18 Boston College and No. 21 Clemson rank among the top 25 in the latest RPI rankings.
• North Carolina leads the conference at 7-0, while Stanford is second at 6-1. Duke and Syracuse are tied for third at 5-2.
• ACC teams are 53-19 (.736) in non-conference play this season.
• 24 ACC players have been named to the watch list for the 2026 Tewaaraton Award. That is the most of any conference.
• 16 ACC players were named 2026 Midseason All-Americans by Inside Lacrosse, most of any conference. Eight more were named honorable mention. North Carolina led all ACC programs with four midseason All-Americans.
• Five ACC players earned First-Team All-America honors on Inside Lacrosse's midseason team: UNC's Sam Forrest, Chloe Humphrey and Eliza Osburn, BC's Shea Beaker and Stanford's Kate Bellissimo.
• Now in its 30th season, ACC women's lacrosse expanded to 13 teams this year, as Florida State competes in its inaugural season.
• Reigning ACC and NCAA champion North Carolina is the preseason favorite to win the 2026 ACC Championship, following a vote of the ACC’s head coaches. The Tar Heels also put a league-best four players on the Preseason All-ACC Team. 
• 21 ACC women's lacrosse games are scheduled for linear television, including 18 on ACC Network and three on ESPNU. All seven games of the ACC Championship will air on ACC Network.
• Sixteen current or former ACC players are part of the 22-woman roster for the 2026 U.S. World Lacrosse Championship Team. The championship will be contested July 24-August 2 in Tokyo. The team will be coached by current Boston College head coach Acacia Walker-Weinstein.
• For the first time, ACC teams will play a 10-game conference schedule this season. The conference tournament features the top eight teams in the final standings, competing April 22-26 at American Legion Memorial Stadium in Charlotte.
• North Carolina won its fourth national championship in program history in 2025, completing an undefeated season with a 12-8 victory over Northwestern in the title game. 
• Since the ACC began sponsoring women's lacrosse in 1997, ACC teams have won 14 NCAA titles, including four of the last five.
• With Boston College and North Carolina in 2025, the ACC had at least two teams competing in the NCAA's Championship Weekend for the 20th time in league history, including the seventh straight.
