CHARLOTTE, N.C. (theACC.com) – North Carolina sophomore attacker Chloe Humphrey earned Atlantic Coast Conference Women’s Lacrosse Offensive Player of the Week honors, while Syracuse senior goalkeeper Daniella Guyette was tabbed the ACC Defensive Player of the Week for games played from March 16-22.
 
Nine ACC women’s lacrosse teams are ranked among the top 25 teams in the latest IWLCA poll, the most among all conferences. Four ACC teams stand in the top 10, with North Carolina at No. 1, Stanford at No. 2, Syracuse at No. 8 and Clemson at No. 10. Also among the top 25: No. 13 Notre Dame, No. 16 Duke, No. 17 Boston College, No. 19 Virginia and No. 23 Pitt.
 
OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF WEEK – Chloe Humphrey, So., A, North Carolina (Darien, Connecticut)
• Had a career day in UNC’s 21-12 win over No. 16 Boston College on Saturday, March 21.
• Recorded career highs in goals (8) and points (11) to go along with three assists. Her eight goals came on 12 shots.
• For the season, Humphrey's 5.11 goals per game (46 total) and 7.33 points per game (66 total) both rank first nationally.
• Was named ACC Offensive Player of the Week for the third time in the last four weeks.
 
DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF WEEK – Daniella Guyette, Sr., GK, Syracuse (Newbury Park, California)
• Was key in two Orange one-goal victories over No. 7 Yale and No. 19 Virginia, logging 14 saves with a .583 save percentage.
• Was especially crucial against No. 7 Yale, posting 10 saves and a .667 save percentage in the 6-5 win at home. Also caused two turnovers and picked up five ground balls.
• Recorded four saves and a caused turnover in a 6-5 road victory over No. 19 Virginia.
