CHARLOTTE, N.C. (theACC.com) – Six Atlantic Coast Conference football players have been named to the 2026 Paul Hornung Award Preseason Watch List, announced Monday by the Louisville Sports Commission.
The ACC’s six selections are California’s Adam Mohammed, Louisville’s Tre Richardson, Miami’s Malachi Toney, NC State’s Jayden “Duke” Scott, Syracuse’s Demetres Samuel Jr. and Virginia’s Solomon Beebe.
The Paul Hornung Award, presented by Texas Roadhouse, is given annually to the most versatile player in major college football. The 2026 preseason list features 39 players representing schools from nine Football Bowl Subdivision (FBS) conferences.
Now in its 17th season, the award honors the late Paul Hornung, a Louisville native, Heisman Trophy winner and member of both the College Football and Pro Football Halls of Fame. The 2026 winner will be honored at the annual Paul Hornung Award dinner in Louisville in March 2027.
