CHARLOTTE, N.C. (theACC.com) - Week 5 of the 2026 Atlantic Coast Conference volleyball season began on Monday, September 14, with ACC teams posting a 3-0 record thus far. The week features seven straight days of ACC volleyball as teams close out regular-season non-conference competition.
Week 5 features three ranked matchups, beginning on Thursday, September 17, when No. 8 Stanford takes on No. 12 Arizona State at 5:30 p.m. ET. No. 25 North Carolina will face No. 1 Nebraska on Friday, September 18, at 8 p.m. ET, and No. 3 Louisville will travel to Lexington, Kentucky, to go head-to-head with in-state rival No. 4 Kentucky at 3 p.m. ET on Sunday, September 20.
Pitt led five ACC teams in the AVCA/Taraflex Week 3 Poll at No. 2, and was followed by Louisville (No. 3), SMU (No. 5), Stanford (No. 8) and North Carolina (No. 25). The ACC leads all conferences with three teams ranked in the top five.

- Pitt remains the ACC’s lone undefeated team with a 10-0 record, highlighted by five wins over top 25 opponents.
- ACC teams are 96-50 (.657) against non-conference opponents.

- SMU’s Suli Davis was named the AVCA Division I Player of the Week on September 15, becoming just the third player in program history to earn the award.
- Louisville’s Chloe Meester was named the AVCA Division I Player of the Week on September 8, becoming just the third player in program history to earn the award.
- Pitt’s Olivia Babcock was named the AVCA Division I Player of the Week on August 26.
- Stanford was voted the preseason favorite to win the 2026 ACC Volleyball Championship for the first time since joining the league by the league’s volleyball head coaches.
- Duke’s Ahen Kim and Florida State’s Lindsay Allman are both in their first seasons as head coaches of their respective programs.
