CHARLOTTE, N.C. (theACC.com) - Six Atlantic Coast Conference Men's Soccer league matches are slated from Friday through Sunday. This marks the fourth of nine weekends of league play for the 2026 regular season.
In a matchup of ranked teams, No. 16 Louisville travels to No. 20 Pitt on Friday at 7 p.m. ET on ACCNX. Winners of five straight games, including a victory at then-No. 1 Stanford last Sunday, No. 10 Notre Dame plays host to Syracuse on Friday at 7 p.m. ET.
In a televised matchup, Wake Forest travels to NC State on Friday at 7 p.m. ET on ACC Network.
California, Clemson and North Carolina each play non-conference games this weekend.
Six ACC teams are ranked in the latest United Soccer Coaches Poll: SMU (3), Stanford (6), Notre Dame (10), Clemson (14), Louisville (16) and Pitt (20). That is tied for the most of any league.

Noting ACC Men's Soccer
• Six ACC teams are ranked in the latest United Soccer Coaches Poll: SMU (3), Stanford (6), Notre Dame (10), Clemson (14), Louisville (16) and Pitt (20). That is tied for the most of any league.
• In the first NCAA RPI of the season, released Monday, five ACC teams are among the top 25, which was tied for the most of any conference: Clemson (4), Pitt (7), Notre Dame (9), SMU (11) and Louisville (22).
• SMU (7-0-1) and Louisville (7-0-2) remain two of the remaining nine remaining unbeaten teams in Division I this season.
• ACC teams have combined to post a 57-15-13 (.747) record in non-conference action this season, including a 6-5-6 mark against ranked teams.
• Since Sept. 1, league teams have posted a 25-2-5 (.859) record against non-conference foes.
• League programs have scored three wins against top-five foes: Stanford vs. No. 2 San Diego, Clemson vs. No. 3 Furman, SMU at No. 4 Saint Louis.
• Virginia Tech's Alex Perez earned ACC Offensive Player of the Week honors, while Notre Dame's Blake Kelly and SMU's Enzo Panozzo shared ACC Defensive Player of the Week laurels for matches played from September 14-20.
• NC State was chosen as the favorite to win the 2026 ACC Championship following a vote of the league’s 15 head coaches. The Wolfpack were picked as the ACC favorite on eight of the coaches’ ballots.
• Nine ACC teams earned berths in the 2025 NCAA Championship, including four teams among the 16 seeded teams. Both totals were most of any league.
• With NC State advancing to the national championship game in 2025, at least one ACC team has reached the Men's College Cup in 23 of the last 25 seasons.
• NC State played in the national championship game for the first time in program history and reached the NCAA College Cup for just the second time (1990).
• A record-tying 25 ACC players were chosen in the 2026 MLS SuperDraft, including a record 13 in the first round. Four of the top five selections came from the ACC, including No. 1 pick Nikola Markovic of NC State.
• Six active ACC head coaches have won D-I national championships as a head coach: Mike Noonan (Clemson), Carlos Somoano (UNC), Jay Vidovich (Pitt), Jeremy Gunn (Stanford), Ian McIntyre (Syracuse) and George Gelnovatch (Virginia). NC State's Marc Hubbard won a Division II national title in 2013.
• ACC teams have won 20 NCAA men’s soccer championships, with 11 since 2001, including three of the last five (Clemson 2021, Syracuse 2022, Clemson 2023).
• Eight active ACC programs have won at least one national championship, the most of any conference. The 15 active ACC schools have combined for 20 titles.
