CHARLOTTE, N.C. (theACC.com) – The 2024 Atlantic Coast Conference Women’s Soccer regular season comes to a close on Thursday, October 31, with eight league matchups. Following Thursday’s action, the bracket for the 2024 Ally ACC Women’s Soccer Championship will be announced.
After a 2-0 road victory at No. 2 Wake Forest on Sunday, October 27, top-ranked Duke wrapped up the conference’s regular-season title and the No. 1 seed in next week’s Championship. With the No. 1 seed, the Blue Devils secured a first-round bye in this year’s tournament and will play as the top-seeded team for the first time since 2017. Duke closes out the regular season with a road contest at No. 8 North Carolina after the teams met earlier this season on September 5 with the Blue Devils edging out a 1-0 non-conference win in Durham. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. ET on ACC Network Extra.
ACC Network will host a doubleheader on Thursday beginning with No. 6 Florida State hitting the road to Miami for a 6 p.m. ET kickoff. At 8 p.m. ET, ACCN will feature another in-state rivalry when Virginia heads to Blacksburg, Virginia, to face No. 12 Virginia Tech.
The 2024 Ally ACC Women’s Soccer Championship begins on Sunday, November 3, with first-round action hosted by the No. 3 and No. 4 seeds. Kickoff times for each match will be announced following the conclusion of the regular season.
The semifinals and Championship final will be held at WakeMed Soccer Park in Cary, North Carolina, the site of this year’s Women’s College Cup. The semifinals are scheduled to start Thursday, November 7, while the Championship is slated for Sunday, November 10, at noon ET. Fans can purchase tickets

Noting ACC Women’s Soccer
• With its 2-0 win over No. 2 Wake Forest on Sunday, top-ranked Duke claimed the outright regular-season title and the No. 1 seed in the Ally ACC Women's Soccer Championship. It marks the first time the Blue Devils will be the No. 1 seed since 2017.
• The bracket for the 2024 Ally ACC Women's Soccer Championship will be announced Thursday evening following the California at No. 14 Stanford match.
• The ACC closed the book on the non-conference portion of the regular season, finishing with a nation-best 93 victories and .792 winning percentage. The league finished with a 15-9-5 (.603) record against peer Power-4 conferences and posted five victories over Top 25 opponents.
• A nation-best seven ACC teams are in the top 25 of the latest United Soccer Coaches Poll, headlined by every team in the top 15. Duke holds onto the No. 1 spot for the fourth straight week, while Wake Forest is No. 3, Florida State is No. 6 and North Carolina is No. 8 to round out the top 10. Virginia Tech is No. 12, Notre Dame is No. 13 and Stanford is tied at No. 14. Virginia is currently receiving votes.
• Eight ACC teams, including five in the top 10, are in the top 25 of the latest RPI rankings, the most among all conferences. North Carolina and Duke hold the top two spots, respectively, while Wake Forest is No. 6, Florida State is No. 7 and Stanford is No. 8. Notre Dame (11), Virginia (12) and Virginia Tech (25) are also in the top 25.
• Florida State sophomore forward Jordynn Dudley was selected as the ACC Women’s Soccer Offensive Player of the Week, while Boston College senior goalkeeper Wiebke Willebrandt and Virginia Tech senior goalkeeper Lauren Hargrove were named ACC Co-Defensive Players of the Week for matches played from October 21-27.
• Dudley and Duke's Mia Oliaro were named to the TopDrawerSoccer Team of the Week on Tuesday.
• California's Karlie Lema and Notre Dame's Izzy Engle are in the top 10 nationally in total goals, as Lema ranks third with 16 goals and Engle ranks 10th with 13. Engle's 13 tallies lead all the nation's freshmen.
• Pitt's Sarah Schupansky leads the nation with 15 assists and a 0.88 assists per match average. Schupansky has posted 105 points (30 goals, 43 assists) for her career, the sixth-highest total among active Division I players.
• Following Schupansky, four ACC players are in the top 10 in total assists, as Duke's Mia Oliaro is fifth with 10 and Blue Devils Ella Hase and Devin Lynch are tied with Notre Dame's Grace Restovich for eighth nationally with nine helpers.
• The ACC has three teams in the top 20 nationally in scoring offense, as Florida State ranks second at 3.47 goals per match and Duke is third at 3.33. Notre Dame is slotted 11th at 2.56.
