CHARLOTTE, N.C. (theACC.com) – The seventh week of Atlantic Coast Conference gymnastics features a rematch between to the two teams at the top of the league, No. 22 Clemson and NC State, while North Carolina and Pitt get things rolling on Friday night at 7 p.m. on ACC Network.
NC State (4-0) enters Saturday's matchup coming off its best performance of the season, defeating in-state rival North Carolina with a season-high 196.725 on Feb. 11. Clemson (4-1) secured its second road-win of the season over Pitt.
Alicia Sacramone Quinn, 11-time World Championship and Olympic medalist, and Alex Perlman will be on the call for UNC and Pitt's Friday night showdown, which marks the first nationally-televised meet held at Carmichael Arena in program history.

- Only five gymnasts have scored a 9.950 in the southeast region, and two of them are from Clemson - Molly Arnold and Lauren Rutherford.
- NC State's Emily Shepard won her third all-around title and notched the fifth-highest score in program history with a 39.525.
- Clemson's floor score of 49.525 against NC State earlier in the season is the 15th highest score on the event in the nation this season.
- Tickets are now on sale for the 2024 ACC Gymnastics Championship set for Saturday, March 23, at 7 p.m. at the Greensboro Coliseum.
- NC State's Emily Shepard became the first gymnast in program history with 40 or more 9.9+ scores following her season-best scores on bars and floor against Pitt.
- Clemson's score of 196.325 over William & Mary is the highest score posted by any program in its first meet of its inaugural season.
- North Carolina and NC State were voted the favorites to claim the 2024 ACC Women's Gymnastics title following a vote of the league's four head coaches. Clemson came in third, followed by Pitt.
- The ACC announced in 2021 that women’s gymnastics would become the league’s 28th sponsored sport beginning with the 2023-24 academic year. The ACC previously sponsored a conference championship in women’s gymnastics in 1984.
- ACC women's gymnastics will be featured on ACC Network and ESPN throughout the season, including the 2024 ACC Gymnastics Championships on Saturday, March 23, at the Greensboro Coliseum in Greensboro, North Carolina.
- The conference released the 2024 Preseason Watch List, which featured eight gymnasts as nominated by the league’s four gymnastics programs, along with the Newcomer List, featuring one true freshman from each program. The full coaches poll and watch lists are here.
