The No. 5-ranked Tar Heels secured the doubles point following wins in all three doubles matches. Elizabeth Scotty and Anika Yarlagadda cruised to a 6-2 win over No. 4 Virginia's Natasha Subhash and Hibah Shaikh on Court 2, while Abbey Forbes and Reilly Tran clinched the point on Court 3 with a 6-3 win over Sara Ziodato and Meggie Navarro. Fiona Crawley and Carson Tanguilig claimed a 6-2 win on Court 1 over Mélodie Collard and Elaine Chervinsky to close out doubles.
No. 36 Elizabeth Scotty gave UNC its second point of the afternoon with a three-set 0-6, 6-1, 6-2 dominant comeback on Court 2 over No. 23 Hibah Shaikh. The Tar Heels took a 3-0 lead after a win from No. 59 Reilly Tran on Court 4 over Virginia's No. 86 Sara Ziodato, 6-4, 6-2.
UNC looked to clinch the match on a pair of courts but it came down to Tatum Evans on Court 6 to seal the win. The 75th-ranked Evans fought back for a 2-6, 6-2, 6-2 win over Collard to secure UNC's seventh ACC title under head coach Brian Kalbas.
