CHARLOTTE, N.C. (theACC.com) –Virginia is one of four remaining undefeated teams nationally and currently sits atop the Atlantic Coast Conference standings with a 4-0 record in conference play. Wake Forest sits one-half game behind the Cavaliers with a 3-0 record, after beating North Carolina in a double-overtime thriller last Friday.
The Friday, October 3, slate will be highlighted by a pair of ranked matchups throughout the league. No. 9 Duke will travel to face second-ranked Virginia at 5:30 p.m. ET on ACCNX, while No. 7 Wake Forest heads to Louisville, Kentucky, for a conference test against the No. 18 Cardinals at 6:30 p.m. ET on ACC Network.
On Sunday, October 5, Duke will play its second ranked opponent of the weekend when it travels to Harrisonburg, Virginia, for a non-conference clash with No. 19 James Madison at 1 p.m. ET on ESPN+.
