CHARLOTTE, N.C. (theACC.com) - Atlantic Coast Conference Men's Soccer hits the home stretch of regular-season play this week with the eighth of nine weekends of 2025 league play.

The regular season concludes with a full slate of games on Friday, October 31. The 2025 ACC Men's Soccer Championship begins on Wednesday, November 5.

Noting ACC Men's Soccer
• This is Week 8 of 9 in conference play. Louisville is idle from ACC play this weekend, while Boston College has the final bye next weekend.
• Five ACC teams are ranked in the United Soccer Coaches Poll (most of any league), highlighted by Stanford at No. 1 spot for the third straight week. Also ranked: NC State (3), Virginia (11), Duke (19) and North Carolina (22).
• In the NCAA's Thursday RPI report, seven ACC teams stand among the top 40, highlighted by Stanford (6), Virginia (7) and NC State (9) in the top 10.
• ACC teams have combined for a 72-18-24 record in non-conference play (.737 win percentage, best of any league). 
• Five ACC teams rank among the top 20 nationally in scoring offense: No. 3 Clemson (2.62), No. 8 NC State (2.43), No. 11 Duke (2.36), No. 15 Stanford (2.29) and No. 18 Wake Forest (2.21).
• NC State's Donavan Phillip leads the nation in goals with 15. SMU's Stephan Soghomonian is 12th nationally with nine goals.
• NC State leads the nation in scoring defense (0.214 goals/game). UNC is tied for seventh nationally (0.571).
• Four ACC teams earned spots on the NCAA DI Men's Soccer Committee's Top 16 list (through games of Oct. 14): No. 2 Stanford, No. 3 Virginia, No. 10 NC State and No. 14 North Carolina.
• Nine ACC standouts were named to the Men’s Hermann Trophy Midseason Watch List: Ransford Gyan (Clemson), Kamran Acito and Kenan Hot (Duke), Logan Erb, Nikola Markovic and Donavan Phillip (NC State), Zach Bohane (Stanford), Nicholas Simmonds (Virginia) and Cooper Flax (Wake Forest)
• ACC teams have won 20 NCAA men’s soccer championships, with 11 since 2001, including three of the last four (Clemson 2021 & 2023, Syracuse 2022). Eight active ACC programs have won at least one national championship, the most of any conference. The 15 active ACC schools have combined for 20 titles.
• At least one ACC team has reached the Men's College Cup in 22 of the last 24 seasons. Thirteen of the 15 active ACC programs have reached the College Cup. Sixty-five ACC teams have reached the College Cup all-time.
