Nine ACC teams earned bids to the NCAA Tournament, most of any conference this year.
The ACC claimed four of the 16 national seeds: Virginia (2), SMU (5), Stanford (12) and NC State (15). These teams earned first-round byes and will play host to second-round matches on Sunday, November 23.
This marks the 13th straight season in which the ACC placed the most teams in the tournament and the 25th consecutive season that at least five league teams earned a bid. No other league has more than five teams in the 2025 field.
All NCAA Tournament action will air on ESPN+ until the NCAA College Cup, which will be broadcast on ESPNU on Dec. 13 and 16.
