CHARLOTTE, N.C. (theACC.com) – After a relatively light week of action last week, which saw Atlantic Coast Conference teams go 3-0, ACC wrestling returns to full swing this weekend as five league programs hit the mat with a mix of duals and tournaments. The league’s nationally ranked teams are looking to build momentum and continue their strong starts to the 2025–26 season.
No. 7 Virginia Tech and No. 24 Stanford will headline ACC participation at the Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invitational, competing on Friday and Saturday, December 5-6, against a stacked field of national contenders. Meanwhile, Virginia Tech will also send a select group of wrestlers to the Patriot Open hosted by George Mason on Sunday.
No. 20 Pitt has a challenging dual weekend, traveling to face No. 14 Lehigh on Friday at 7 p.m. ET before returning home to host Bucknell on Sunday at noon.
No. 10 NC State continues its schedule with two duals on Sunday in Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina, first against Morgan State at 1 p.m. ET, followed by a high-stakes top-15 matchup with No. 13 Rutgers at 3 p.m. ET.
Virginia rounds out the ACC’s weekend with two contests on Sunday in Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania, taking on Bridgeport at 12:30 p.m. ET and East Stroudsburg at 2 p.m. ET.
