ACC Indoor Track & Field Championships Begin Saturday in Louisville

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (theACC.org) – After an eight-week regular season, all 15 Atlantic Coast Conference Indoor Track & Field programs will descend upon the Norton Healthcare Sports & Learning Center in Louisville, Kentucky, for the 2025 ACC Indoor Track & Field Championships, beginning Saturday, March 1. The event will run through Monday, March 3, with all three days streaming on ACC Network Extra.

Defending ACC Champions North Carolina lead the men’s field, ranked No. 3 in the most recent USTFCCCA National Track & Field Rating Index. The Tar Heels are followed by No. 8 Virginia and No. 20 Virginia Tech. Stanford leads the ACC women’s rankings at No. 6, followed by No. 20 Notre Dame, No. 21 Clemson and No. 25 NC State.

The ACC previously hosted the ACC Indoor Track & Field Championships at the Norton Healthcare Sports & Learning Center in 2023. The 2023 event saw Virginia Tech sweep both the men’s and women’s championships. The Hokies defended their women’s title, their third consecutive crown, at the 2024 ACC Indoor Track & Field Championships in Boston, Massachusetts, while North Carolina holds the title of reigning men’s team champions.

The facility is one of only nine hydraulically banked indoor tracks in the United States and one of 17 in the world. The track is widely regarded as the fastest indoor track surface style, both nationally and internationally. The track was designed by Mondo and Kiefer, who have designed the tracks for the last 10 Olympic Games. The facility features grandstand seating for nearly 2,800 people along the west side and more than 1,200 additional bleacher seats on the east side of the track.
